finish this twill scarf, using the Habu fine merino yarn I got in new york and handspun Inca cotton from Seattle’s Weaving Works this summer. has a little bit of holiday feel, don’t you think?

the fruit has start to ripe and turned yellow on the big wi apple tree outside our lanai. in few weeks it’s going to shed their leaves for winter.
kumihimo is always something I want to learn, and seeing artist Makiko Tada‘s amazing kumihimo machine certainly put me in trance.
